We had another GREAT day of Preschool! Everyone is understanding the rules and getting used to the routine. We had some Awesome Show & Tells, learned some new songs, did Calendar and Weather, painted with Apples, rode the Jeep outside at recess and worked on our handwriting and coloring! We are having FUN!

1st Day of Preschool

We had a GREAT FIRST DAY today! I am really looking forward to this year and I hope your kids had a good day and are excited to come back on Thursday!

This blog is a fun way for you to get a peek at what your kids will be doing at preschool! Some days I will be able to take a lot of pictures and other days, I may not even get a chance...but hopefully it is a fun way to show your kids the pictures and talk about what they did during the week. I have one email from every family attached to these posts, so you get an automatic email every time I post. Please let me know if you would like to be removed from this list and just check the blog on your own time.  This blog is currently public, but I do not post any NAMES or my ADDRESS for privacy reasons. If any one of you prefer this blog is made private during this school year, please let me know and I will be happy to make it private.

They know how to make SILLY FACES...that is always a good sign :)
During recess today, they had fun with the parachute and trampoline!

Reading books after snack time is always the perfect time to relax and search letters we recognize!

Show & Tell was fun today!
I loved all of the things that they came up with that begin with the letter A! Here are a few of the fun things that were brought in.
**Reminder: We do Show & Tell at the start of every class, so feel free to send something in that begins with the letter of the week, but remind your child to keep it put away in their backpack until Show & Tell time. If you can also help me explain that they will have to put it away in their backpacks after they show it to their friends and keep it there until they get home.

Snack time was a FAVORITE! The snack basket went home today and will begin its rotation, so please send it in when your child comes home with it! **Enough snacks for 12 children and please be aware of a PEANUT ALLERGY in our class. THANK YOU!
I'm looking forward to a GREAT YEAR! Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or concerns! This first month we will be reviewing rules and expectations frequently, so that we can have an enjoyable year. If there are any issues, I will let you know by phone, email or through comments on their sticker chart. I can already tell I have a great group this year and look forward to getting to know each of them better and helping them learn and grow!
