Letter E

I can't believe what an amazing group of students I have this year! We are only 2 months in and they are learning so quickly and are very well respectful and behaved! I am very pleased & I know that is because they have wonderful parents...so THANK YOU!!!

Show & Tell: Eggs & Elephants & Envelopes & Erasers & More! Lots of fun ideas this week!

Circle Time: We talked about Exercise & Eating Habits & staying healthy! We talked about the benefits of staying healthy and different ways we can exercise at home.

Calendar & Weather: Ask your child to sing you the "weather song" and see if they can sing it to you this week!

Arts & Crafts: We water colored Elephants in a jungle scene

Snack: We enjoyed the cooler weather and ate snack outside this week!

Gross Motor Skills: Balance and coordination/Elephants Walking on a tightrope activity

Language Game: Dice Alphabet game where we rolled a letter and told the class the sound that the letter made. Everyone also tried to find their match, by looking for the same letter or picture on other friend's dice.

Handwriting: Making letters on the whiteboard

Coloring: We tried to SLOW DOWN and color inside the lines!

Physical Fitness: We went outside to Exercise and completed a fun course with jumping on the trampoline, shooting a basketball, hopping on one foot and running to the finish line!

Sensory Activity: We discussed our senses and what would happen if we didn't have our Eyesight. We talked about all of the wonderful things we can see with our eyes. We then temporarily "took away our eyesight" with a blindfold and played a game where we put an object in a plastic bag and using touch, they had to try to guess what the object was.

Music: Elephant Follow the Leader while singing familiar tunes
